Recognizing the competitive landscape in the crypto asset management industry, we partnered with Grayscale to perform a comprehensive analysis of their competitors and other key players in the space. We developed a strategic plan to overhaul Grayscale's YouTube channel, aiming to elevate them to a video content-first organization.
Within the first quarter of twenty twenty-four, the transformation was remarkable. Their YouTube channel evolved from an amateur appearance to a highly professional platform, rivaling and even surpassing competitors in visual appeal, branding, and consistent messaging. Despite some of these competitors having years of experience, Grayscale managed to establish itself as a strong contender within three months.
We introduced well-organized playlists like Grayscale Commercials, Grayscale Research, Grayscale Market Update, and Grayscale Shorts, allowing for easy navigation and an enhanced user experience. The addition of high-quality short-form content, with engaging graphics and consistent posting (around three shorts per week), made Grayscale the most consistent content creator in the asset management space.
Visually, the distinct blackberry and coral color scheme created a recognizable and attractive look that stood out in the crowded market. This meticulous attention to detail helped reinforce Grayscale's strong branding across their channel, creating a visually appealing feed.
Currently, 4.61% of Grayscale's website traffic comes from social media, with only 6.76% of that traffic originating from YouTube—well below the competitive benchmark of 23.66%. However, by continuing this overhaul strategy and consistently producing high-quality video content, Grayscale is on track to reach or even exceed that benchmark, potentially increasing annual website visitors by over 1.2 million. Our partnership will ensure they continue to produce impactful content, leverage video across platforms, and establish a surround sound presence that resonates with their audience.
